The EC500 charges 2 or 4 NiCd or NiMH rechargeable batteries of sizes AA or AAA.
It features multiple over-charging protection systems including: -deltaV detection, safety timer and reverse polarity protection.
The charging status of the cells is indicated by LEDs. The charge current is 500mA followed by a trickle charge to keep the batteries fully charged until they are removed from the charger.
The EC500 is a direct plug-in charger with a UK plug, but with its wide range input (100-240V AC) the EC500 is suitable for use throughout the world when using a plug adapter. |
